This course is designed to help physician assistants, nurse practitioners, and nurses improve self-awareness and learn skills in managing stress. We will identify the signs and symptoms of burnout and acknowledge ways we can improve our personal well-being. We will explore goals of self-compassion, creativity, productivity, self-advocacy, and empathy. These skills will be applicable for use with self-care when applying to one's self as well as helpful to share with patients in day to care as they struggle with stress and anxiety as well.

Testimonials!

“I highly recommend anything organized by Randie. Her pottery lessons are fun and can be a meditative practice. Her cooking is delicious. And she is an authentic community-builder, physician-mom, ready to infuse some joy into your life!”
Mia Yang, MD

“ I was so fortunate to participate in the fall 2021 MBASR with fantastic women physicians. Randie creates a safe space to create, share, de-stress, and enjoy amazing food (even spectacular vegan options for the vegans!). The activities -- stress reduction techniques, eating interesting and diverse food, creating pottery pieces, and interactions with other women physicians -- these are all things Randie does with incredible ease as she's a true expert in each of these areas. It is amazing to watch her manage the group and meet each person's individual needs while cooking and creating and teaching! I enjoyed these sessions immensely and I will miss them and Randie's open heart and safe space. Do yourself a favor and sign up for the next session!"
Jill Conway, MD

“What a needed resource and outlet for women healthcare providers! Randie has organized a delightful way to unwind, share ideas and struggles, engage our creative brain, and learn relaxation techniques. The new friendships formed are a bright spot in my future. And the tools learned for stress management are encouraging to be able to call on when needed. I would highly recommend this program to any healthcare provider who needs a way to decompress and rejuvenate.”
Allison Evanoff, MD
